（昨年はケガで欠場した）ザ・メモリアル・トーナメントにまた出場できることを楽しみにしています。最近、オーランド地区では雨の日が多いですが、ザ・プレーヤーズ以来ハードな練習を重ねています。アイルワース・カントリークラブでは一日に15センチの雨もあったみたいですね・・・。
今年、6戦して優勝1回、トップ10が5回、と膝の手術で戦線離脱していた期間を考えると悪くない成績だと思っています。ただ、優勝が目前まで来ていて、最後に決められないのは何とも苛々します。今はただただ場数を踏んで実戦に慣れていくことが大事なんだと感じています。

少し暗いニュースですが、エリンと僕はエイミー・ミケルソンさんが乳がんにかかったと聞いてとても悲しかったです。彼女は本当に素晴らしい人間で、ミケルソン一家がこの悲劇と向き合わなければいけないことは残念で仕方ありません。願わくば、回復も良く、早く完治してくれることを祈っています。僕はフィルに電話をして、我々も支えになれることがあれば、と伝えました。ミケルソン家にとって、今は本当に辛い時期ですが皆彼のことを想っています。

少し明るいニュース。ホセ・マリア・オラサバルの世界ゴルフ殿堂入りが決まったことを聞いて感激しました。（愛称）オリーとはいつもプレーするのを楽しみにしていて、彼のアプローチの技とマネジメントの考え方には勉強させられています。特にグリーン周りでいろんなライからの対処法、それぞれのライでクラブがどのようにボールに当たるかを完全に熟知しています。
7月にはコングレッショナル・カントリークラブで再びAT&Tナショナルでホスト役を勤めます。昨年の優勝者アンソニー・キムをはじめ、ジム・フューリック、アーニー・エルス、ショーン・オヘア、ニック・ワトニー、ダニー・リーなどすごいメンバーが集まります。コースは申し分のない状態にあるようですし、彼らと対戦して「W（優勝）」が取れるようがんばります。
最近、オバマ大統領とホワイトハウスでお会いする機会がありました。いつかは是非一緒にラウンドしていろんな話をしてみたいです。今はそれどころじゃないだろうけど、もしかしたら、いつかは実現する日が来るかもしれません。一国のリーダーだとは思えないほど大統領は本当に気さくな方です。
ホワイトハウスを一周案内してもらいました。特に建物自体の歴史、そしてそれぞれの部屋について教えてもらったことが印象に残っています。タイムマシーンで過去に戻っているような感覚がしてね...あと、SSAと話せたことも印象的でした。
もうすぐ全米オープンですね。必ず事前にベスページ・ブラックまで行ってプレーしてコースの状態をチェックしてきます。2002年に勝って以来、いくつか改修しているようなのでそれをこの目で見てみたいと思います。
NBAファイナルはどうしたものでしょう・・・。幼い頃からロサンゼルス・レイカーズのファンだけど、今はオーランド・マジックのシーズンチケット持ってるし・・・。いずれにしろ良いファイナルであることを祈って！
