今朝、ノーザントラスト・オープン初日の中継をネットとゴルフネットワークを同時進行で生観戦していたのですが、ラウンド中に突如タイガー・ウッズが来週のWGCアクセンチュアマッチプレー選手権で復帰すると流れた。
すると、そのオフィシャルリリースを待っていたかのように、pgatour.comのトップページがガラっと！僕はネットのクリエイティブとか素人で細かいことはよくわからんちんですが、やっぱりこの人たちのサイトと中で仕掛けている人たちが大好物です。
奇しくもこの日は石川遼のPGAツアーデビューの日。でも今週の金曜日がアクセンチュアマッチプレーの出場登録締切だったため、タイガーの出場可否のニュースが飛び込んでくるのは大方予想できたこと。
それでもこんな「お祭り」、久しぶりに目撃しました。分毎に様変わりしていくpgatour.comのサイト。見ていてこちらも思わずほくそえんでしまうほど、内容が充実していました。
これが今のトップページ。タイガーの「サンデーレッド」。バイオレットとブルーって綺麗な組合せですね。。。先日までは「Tiger Chase（タイガーを追う）」だったのが、「Tiger Returns（タイガー復帰）」に。
そして、これにはビックリしました。
普通であれば、PGAツアーのサイトのテキストリンクは青色なのですが、タイガー復帰を伝える速報の記事のテキストリンクは全て「サンデーレッド」。渋すぎる演出。
そしてまだまだ続きます。
「今何をやってる？」を伝えるTwitter。タイガー復帰を皆で語り合おうぜ！という板。ちなみに、この画像、最高にウケる。右側に「Quiet（静かに）」という看板があるのに注目。タイガーが帰ってくるとこういう光景がまた戻ってくる、というのがよく伝わってきます。
こちらはアメリカのMixi、「Facebook」。既に復帰を祝うグループが作られている。
いろんなサイトをまたぎ歩いていると、参考になる仕掛けやキャッチがたくさんあって朝からお腹一杯でした。勉強になりました。さんきゅー、タイガー。
タイガーのスポンサーでもあるアクセンチュアの大会だから出場するのかは別として、とにかく彼がゴルフ界に戻ってくることはどんな政策よりも（ゴルフ業界にとっては）経済効果が高い。
ファンが喜ぶ。
メディアも喜ぶ。
選手が喜び、大会も喜ぶ。

そして、今回改めて分かったのが、
タイガーが所属するPGAツアーが心底この瞬間を誰よりも喜んでいたこと。
