米女子プロゴルフツアーで通算72勝を挙げ、昨季現役を引退したアニカ・ソレンスタムが自身のブログで妊娠していることを発表した。
引退後はゴルフウエアのブランド立ち上げのほか、ゴルフ場の設計、ゴルフアカデミーの開校など実業家としての活動を精力的に行っていた。
「私たちの家族が増え、人生の新たな1ページの始まりに大変興奮している」とコメント。
