大方の予報では土曜、日曜も雨とのこと。そうなると月曜日（または月曜以降）のフィニッシュが濃厚になってきます。
では、木曜日の第1ラウンドを観戦していたギャラリーはチケット代が返金されるのか？仮に月曜日まで延期になった場合、「振り替え」られるのか？

アメリカらしくない、というか、あまりにも理不尽なルールだと感じるのは僕だけではないはず（実際に観戦していた人は怒り狂ってるはず）。「だったら水浸しになってもプレーを続行しろ！」と言う人が出てきてもおかしくないでしょう。
日本でもそうですが、野球やサッカーの場合、試合が天候などの理由で中止になった場合は振り替え試合に再度入場できることになっていますよね。USGAの規定では、「何かしらの理由で一人としてプレーできなかった場合は」振り替え日のチケットとして有効にする、とのこと。今日の場合、一人もラウンドは終了しませんでしたが74名がプレーしていたため、この規定には該当しないようなのです。
ん～、どうなのでしょうか...。USGAってこんなに頭の固い団体だったとは知りませんでした。
そもそも5日間を想定してチケットは発行していないわけですし、雨の中見に来てくれたファンを月曜日に入れてあげても良いと思うんですけどね。結局USGAは5日目以降のチケットを販売することになって、「金儲け」に走った団体として見られてしまっても仕方ないです。日本から観戦チケットの入ったパックで行っている人たちは本当にかわいそうですねー。
PGAツアーの主催試合であれば恐らく再入場を許可するでしょう。PGAツアーの場合は、ボランティアやチャリティ活動などで地元の人たちと密着しているという理由もあるかとは思いますが...。
このニュースは多くのメディアが「なぜ！？」と疑問を投げかけています。大会期間中、USGAが新たな方針を考え出して発表するのでしょうか？
