最終組でスタートした不動はキャディと共にこの雰囲気を楽しんでいるようなラウンド。6番でボギーを叩いた時はどうなるかと思ったけど、直後の7番でピン奥につけてバーディ。そして9番から3ホール連続でバーディを奪った。パー4、17番でこの日最大のピンチが待っていた。ティショットを右の深いラフに入れ、出した2打目も固いラフの上に。そこでダフってしまいグリーン手前のバンカーに入った。
最悪ダブルボギーも見えたバンカーショットも「距離もあったので手前から転がして行こうと思った」と淡々と打ってOK距離につけるスーパーショット。この人のスーパーショットは、簡単にやってのけてしまいガッツポーズもないから、不思議とスーパーショットに見えない。恐るべし、不動！
「最後の方はちょっとぶれてしまって。。。早くおわって良かった」とコメントも相変わらずのマイペース。
「せっかく60台で3日間（66-68-69）これたので、明日も60台で回れればいいなと。あんまり順位は考えてないですけど、満足したプレーで帰れればと思います」。無心にも聞こえるけどきっと言葉に出していないだけで、これまでの優勝経験からいろんなシナリオを描いているのだろう。このマインドセットに入った不動は、彼女が日本ツアーで無敵だった頃と全く一緒。本当にこのまま逃げ切ってしまう可能性が大きい。
不動とは対照的に、宮里のホールアウト後の一言。
「明日は狙っていきます」。4アンダーのラウンドには満足気な表情で明日への抱負を語った。この日の宮里はパットが冴えていた。ショットのリズムも良く、崩れそうな「雰囲気」がなかった。
このサニングデールCCは、1・2・9・10・14番の5ホールが比較的バーディを取りやすいセッティングになっている。イーグルも狙えるホールだけに、明日の藍ちゃんは1番ホールから積極的に狙ってくるのだろう。個人的には「All or nothing」でいいと思う。思いっきりピンをデッドに狙い、それが故にスコアが崩してしまうのであればそれまでだ。今日までの不動と2位の申智愛を見る限り、大きくスコアを落とすのは考えにくい。であれば藍ちゃんがスパートして、プレッシャーをかけていくしかない。
トップ3、いや、優勝争いに一番近いところに日本人が2人いるのは、本当に興奮する。上田桃子は最終ホールのボギーが痛い。通算8アンダー、10位タイに止まった。こちらは厳しいかな。。。
24時間後にはチャンピオンが決まっている。果たして日本人メジャー制覇になっているのか・・・。
