今朝の日経新聞に出ていた東京ガールズコレクションの「カワイイ♡は不況知らず」の記事で思い出しました。先日ブルームバーグが報じた記事によると、今年のマスターズは不況のダメージが直撃していて、チケットや宿泊施設の価格が例年とは比較にならないほど下がっているようなのです。
ちょっとだけ奮発すれば、あなたもマグノリアレーンを通れてしまうのです...。

このブルームバーグの記事よると、マスターズの観戦チケットをネット販売している「Stubhub」では昨年対比でチケットの価格が15％下落しているそうです。
1日観戦から1週間のパックまでいくつか種類が出ているのですが、主なところでは...
・練習日（月曜日）：$108～（約10,500円）
・練習日（火曜日）：$227～（約22,000円）
・4日間パック（木～日曜日）：$1,765～（約173,000円）
・7日間パック（月～日曜日）：$3,501～（約343,000円）
となっています。
Stubhubの関係者の話だと、7日間パックの平均販売価格は昨年が$3,930だったのに対し、今年は$3,377とのこと。月曜日だけ見に行く人はなかなかいないと思いますけど、1万円でゴルフの聖地に入れるとはちょっとビックリ。4日間で17万円...これまでの基準で考えると安いですが、マニアにとってはたまらない金額なのでは！
ちなみに株式会社ユーレックスの「フェアウェイ」というサイトではマスターズ観戦ツアーを販売していて、4泊5日で初日から最終日までの4日間観戦券（宿泊、朝食付）が758,000円で販売されています。これは航空券が含まれていないため、明らかに割高！こんな価格で売ってたら絶対に売れないでしょう！？
マスターズに行かれたことがある人ならご存知かと思いますが、この大会期間中最も苦労するのが「宿」の確保。企業の接待や団体観戦が主流のため、コース近辺で家ごと借りてしまうのです。しかし、この不況下ではさすがに企業も「接待経費」を削減していて、オーガスタの不動産賃貸（レンタル）を手がけている「Corporate Quarters」社のスター氏によるとマスターズ観戦者を対象とした不動産の賃料は昨年対比で最大50％も下がっているそうなのです！
例えば、4ベッドルーム（バス・トイレ3つ）の1週間の賃料が$9,000から$7,000（約680,000円）に、5ベッドルームが$30,000から$15,000に下がっているとのこと。それでも「空室」がまだまだ残っていて、大会間近になると値段は下がってくると予想しています。
ちなみに、ちょっと調べてみました。自分で全て手配できるなら...
・4日間観戦チケット：170,000円
・航空券：約100,000円（格安系）
・宿泊（4月9～12、4泊）：50,000円
計：320,000円
これ以外に食費や雑費がかかってきますが、どうなんでしょう･･･4泊6日、マスターズ本選観戦で32万円。まだちょっと高いですかね？それでも円高、石川遼（僕的には今田竜二）が出場するとなったら、日本のゴルフファンにとっては逆に安いくらいなのではないでしょうか。別にマスターズ観戦ツアー会社を叩くつもりはありませんが、韓国2泊3日を12,000円で行けてしまう時代。もうちょっと頑張って欲しい！
これまでマスターズという大会は世界中のゴルファーの憧れであり、ファンであれば一生に一度入れれば...と言われていた場所。そんな目には見えない付加価値も従来の「需要と供給」のバランスも不況によって完全に崩壊しかけているのがよく分かります。
見に行きやすくなって欲しいですが、格式がなくなるのも...。難しいバランスですね。
