「P&GビューティーNWアーカンソー選手権」の最終日、宮里藍は４つスコアを伸ばし通算１３アンダー、４位タイでフィニッシュ。上位陣が苦しむ中、あと一歩のところまで詰め寄るも、またしても初優勝はおあずけとなった。
最終日のラウンドをネット中継（アメリカのLPGAサイト）でずっと見てました。要所で藍ちゃんのプレーが紹介されていましたので、ホール毎に動画作ってみました。（またまた）PCの画面をキャプチャーしたものですので、画質が少し劣化していること、予めご了承ください m(_ _)m
前日は雨の影響でグリーンが遅くなっていたが、この日は晴天でグリーンも乾いていた。それでも少し湿ったグリーンのラインを読み切れないシーンが多々見られた。やはり天候が一日おきに変わると、グリーン上での微妙なタッチの差が勝負の分かれ目となる。
ラウンドが始まる前に書いたが、９アンダー、首位とは３打差でスタートした藍ちゃんが逆転するには最低でも６アンダーで回らなければならなかった。最後の２ホールまで団子状態の接戦を制したのは韓国のイ・ソンファ。最後の１８番でバーディを決め、１５アンダーで混戦を制した。
上田桃子は通算４アンダー、４３位タイで終了している。
